Those who spend their time on the water are often the ocean’s strongest protectors. That is why the yachting community plays a very important role in ocean conservation.
Pollution reporting in Greek waters
We are proud to announce our official partnership with New Horizon Yachting to safeguard the Greek seas and empower local coastal communities. Through this collaboration, we are integrating crowdsourced technology into luxury sailing experiences, encouraging yacht crews and guests to log pollution data and map marine hazards in real time.
NewMoney covered the announcement in the Greek business press, and the partnership connects people already travelling through Greek waters with a tool for recording what they see.
Where the idea was born
This partnership also marks a special milestone for our organization. The original concept for Eyesea was born while our founder was living in Greece. Returning to these waters alongside New Horizon Yachting allows us to connect maritime tourism, local knowledge, and technology right where our global mission first began.
Next time you are out enjoying the water, remember that you are the Eyes of the Sea.
